All requesters must fill out the GIS User Agreement form before data is delivered.

- The National Map Accuracy Standard scale and contour interval for the aerial mapping: 1"=100, 2 foot contours.
- The date of the aerial photography and the aerial photo scale: Photos were taken in summer 2006. Individual tiles are 2,500' x 2,500' for the 1"=100' photography.
- Horizontal datum for the aerial mapping: Virginia State Plane Coordinate System.
- Vertical datum for the mapping: NAD83
- Available ground survey control points: A survey control booklet is available in the office of Public Utilities (4th floor of Rouss City Hall) for you or your staff to examine.
- Viewing software: free, downloadable software is available as follows:
- MrSID (.sid) format: www.lizardtech.com, MrSID Viewer or MrSID Geoviewer
- .dwg format: www.autodesk.com, Voloview Express
